Privacy
This site keeps anonymous readership statistics so I can see which works are being read and how the library is used. The application turns your network address into a salted, one-way hash before storing it; it does not store the address itself. It records visit times, work views, active reading or listening time, and file downloads. For downloads, it also records whether the link was opened on this site, directly, or from another site; only the referring site’s hostname is kept, not the full page address.
If you leave a comment, the temporary name, comment text, time, and an anonymous visitor hash are stored. Your name and comment appear publicly. I can remove comments from the admin desk.
Your browser may remember your adult-content confirmation, paper or night theme, text size, reading position, and temporary comment name. The adult confirmation is a first-party cookie containing only a yes-or-no value; no birth date or identity document is requested. The other preferences stay in your browser. The administrator login uses a secure session cookie; ordinary readers do not need an account.
The site uses Cloudflare and a self-hosted web server to deliver pages and files. It has no advertising trackers, and its fonts are served from this site. External profile links have their own privacy policies.
